Preferred Hotels portfolio expands across regions
The new members range from city hotels and historic properties to an all-inclusive private-island resort. They include UMusic Hotel Madrid in Spain, Palazzo Trezza in Verona, Italy, and Diamonds Thudufushi in the Maldives.
Other additions include Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club in Durham, North Carolina; THE FUJIYA HOTEL in Hakone, Japan; and HOTEL BANOV TOWNSCAPE WUHAN in China.

Loyalty offer carries an inconsistent date
Preferred Hotels & Resorts said members of its I Prefer rewards program could earn 2,500 bonus points on eligible stays at participating new properties for a limited time. It listed a booking deadline of December 31, 2026, but gave a stay deadline of March 31, 2026, before the announcement and the quarter in which the hotels joined. The intended stay deadline is unclear.
The company said the free-to-join rewards program has more than 6 million members and covers over 700 participating hotels and resorts worldwide.
