The FORVIA AI partnership with Raiqon will apply artificial intelligence to technical requirements work in automotive engineering, the companies announced on October 29, 2026.

Key Takeaways

  • The jointly developed solution integrates with FORVIA’s existing IBM DOORS environment.
  • It is being adapted for FORVIA HELLA and Faurecia Clarion Electronics.
  • Raiqon and FORVIA HELLA plan to discuss an engineering application at Automotive Days in November.

How the FORVIA AI partnership works

The partnership focuses on requirements engineering: defining, analyzing and managing the technical requirements for a product. Depending on complexity, a development project can involve up to 15,000 individual requirements.

Built on Raiqon’s multi-agent AI platform and deployed within FORVIA’s secure IT environment, the solution brings together data from multiple engineering applications. It automates tasks including identifying similar requirements, reusing earlier assessments, detecting inconsistencies and creating missing links.

Where the companies will apply the technology

The solution is being adapted to the needs of FORVIA HELLA and Faurecia Clarion Electronics. FORVIA says it is intended to reduce manual work and accelerate development while fitting into established workflows. The announcement did not quantify productivity gains.

Raiqon and FORVIA HELLA are also planning an Automotive Days presentation on an enterprise-scale application of AI in requirements engineering. Raiqon says the November 11–12 event in Ehningen, Germany, will cover FORVIA HELLA’s plans to use the technology in its existing IBM DOORS Next environment.
