Fortegra reinsurance has appointed Guy House as senior vice president for treaty reinsurance, with responsibility for leading its treaty underwriting strategy from the company’s UK office.
Fortegra reinsurance role and experience
House brings more than 18 years of London market experience to the specialty insurer. His work has included buying and writing reinsurance across property, marine, energy, terrorism and aviation.
Fortegra said his expertise includes treaty and retrocession reinsurance, direct and facultative insurance, exposure management, and capital raising and management.
Previous roles
House was previously head of property at Tamesis Dual. Before joining Tamesis Dual, he was a senior property direct and facultative underwriter at Markel International.
