The TractorNext platform has been unveiled to help farmers, rural entrepreneurs and other buyers in India find information and make decisions about agricultural and rural equipment.
How the TractorNext platform aims to help buyers
The company said the platform seeks to provide product information, comparison tools and access to relevant expertise in one place. It also intends to combine product discovery with local-language communication and market engagement.
Founder and CEO Vishnu Dhas said equipment purchases represent a significant investment. He cited products ranging from agricultural drones and tractors to implements, bulldozers and specialised equipment.
Regional reach for equipment suppliers
TractorNext also aims to give equipment manufacturers and suppliers digital visibility, regional outreach and opportunities to connect with prospective customers.
G. S. Grewal, president of the Tractor and Mechanization Association, formally unveiled the platform at an industry gathering in Pune. Grewal said accessible product information and simpler comparisons could help farmers choose technologies suited to their needs.
